With a resilient £5 billion digital ecosystem and over 10,000 digital and tech businesses, Manchester is one of the UK’s biggest tech cities. Founded in a basement in the Northern Quarter, Manchester Tech Festival (MTF) was designed to highlight Manchester’s broad spectrum of diverse talent, showcase our innovative tech businesses and bring together a vibrant community.
A core part of the MTF mission centres around inspiring the next generation of digital talent which is why it has chosen to lend its support to promote Rise UP.
Roman Dibden, Charity Director of RISE UP hopes that the partnership will help encourage more local businesses and digital leaders to engage with the charity and offer both mentoring and work placement opportunities, he said: "We are absolutely delighted to be working alongside the Manchester Tech Fest. We have watched and admired the festival grow in size and influence over recent years and to have them onboard as a charity partner is a massive boost for everyone involved with the charity."
We can’t wait to be part of the event celebrations and to connect with digital leaders and founders from across the north west”.
RISE UP invites individuals and organisations to join them in their mission of empowering marginalised young people and creating a more inclusive and equitable society.
